We’re looking for a “Maths & Science” tutor for our very gifted 12 year old son (thinx he’s 35 if u know the type!)
He’s currently at Murrays Bay Intermediate and in the extension class. He’s very accomplished academically and we’d like to challenge him a little more. We’d like to focus on this year’s UNSW ICASS exam curriculum in Maths and Science firstly, to bring these results up and then then on more challenging science and math’s streams.
He’s currently doing advanced Algebra, statistics etc and has a real passion for chemistry after memorising the whole periodic table of the elements. He works at pace…… once he’s seen it, hears it, he’s got it, coupled with an amazing long term memory. Tunes out if things are being repeated or moving along at a normal pace.
However, do not think he’s a wall flower for a moment, as he stands 172 cm tall with size 13 basket ball boots & we’ve nick named him “pine tree” after Colin Meads. He’s an awful lot of fun and I’m sure you’ll learn some interesting things from him.

Short term accommodation wanted for a family of three with a young baby. We are moving to Palmerston North in mid January as I will be starting a lecturer position at Massey University. We require accommodation from the 28th January for approximately 2-4 months. We are interested in anything between 1-3 bedrooms and furnished or unfurnished.
